Well it’s that time of year again! BACK TO SCHOOL/COLLEGE/UNI… I’ve got to admit I secretly LOVE this time of year, purely for the excuse to buy new stationery – I’m not going to lie. I’m now starting my final year of student life (I say this every year), but this time I’ll be studying an online course. Oh, how times have changed! I’m lucky enough to still remember using a black board at school – not so lucky to recall the deafening sound of a scratching piece of chalk on said black board – but lucky none the less!
Since I won’t be commuting to a university campus this year, I unfortunately don’t have the excuse to buy a new bag. Sigh! Nor do I really need to buy new folders and notebooks, mainly because I’ve accumulated thousands over the years, but also because I’m assuming that studying online will mean less paper handouts? Not to worry, I’m in the process of designing some very snazzy ring binder inserts to support stressed out students (like me) and help us all ace our studies! So I’ll be filling my empty folders with those no doubt. These will slowly be getting released on my online shop over the next few weeks, so keep an eye out on here and my Instagram @getittogether_blogs where I’ll be sharing how I’m using them throughout my time at Uni.
In addition, because I LOVEEEEE student life so much (lol), I’ve decided to dedicate one blog post every week of September (and maybe October, if you’re not sick of me by then) to a ‘Student Series’, bringing you smart hacks, words of wisdom and most importantly, words of encouragement to get you through the ‘back to school’ phase of your academic year.
I really hope that this is something you will benefit from and if you’re not a student then I apologise! But I’m sure if you live a busy life then my content will still apply and you’ll hopefully be able to take something away from each post. I’m very excited to be running a series on my blog – the first of many, I hope! I’ve got lots of ideas in the pipeline so stay tuned and don’t forget to follow my blog to be notified each time I upload. I really appreciate your support and I wish you all the best for this new academic year. You’ve got this! – or so I continue to tell myself…….
